L' Amour de Pierrot

Haunted Portraits is proud to introduce L'Amour de Pierrot

I have to say I'm pretty pumped about my latest work. I ran across an old photo card on eBay from the late 1800s when I was looking for some images to work my magic on and I found a most unusual one. You can see that image here at the bottom of the page. Even though I love the image it really didn't lend it's self well to a morph so I started digging around for other treasures out there when I ran across this strange illustration and instantly knew I had to figure out a way to turn it into a changing portrait. This is the first time I've ever worked backwards. By that I mean that usually I start with a normal image and transform it into something wicked. In this case I had dark image I had to sanitize for the normal image. By adding color and darkening the background I changed it into a very normal looking image. But as with all my works as you walk by it changes from the normal to the strange. I hope you enjoy my latest work as much as I do. To visit it's new section in our Gallery go here

Free Wallpapers, Avatars
and More

I've been working hard in the dungeon to make this one of the best, most content rich Halloween merchant sites on the web. I've added a new download section which contains several HauntedPortraits desktop wallpapers and icon size avatars. I'll be adding more in the future, so stop by from time to time to see what's new Downloads

Creepy Surprises

You know, sometimes it's fun to create new shit just because it's cool. I recently went to the bookstore looking for something to read on vacation. I was looking through the business books when I ran across one called the "Wizard of Ads". Now one of the reasons it stood out from the other business books was because it didn't look anything like a business book, it looked more like something out of Harry Potter. I picked it up and started thumbing through it and was surprised to find these silly little pictures in the book of old ads, notes, etc. that had absolutely nothing to do with the book other than they were cool. And shazam.. I thought it would be fun to create images that don't have anything to do with anything. You'll have to dig around the site to find them but they're located at the bottom of the page. Again I'll be adding more as time goes by so be sure and check back often. Have fun on your scavenger hunt.

Put Yourself on the Map

I recently ran across a cool site called Frappr which allows you to create a map and then people can put themselves on your map. I've set one up and would love to see where everybody is on this big blue planet. You can add your picture and info as well if you like. Here's a little incentive to kick things off, the first person that adds themselves gets a free 5x7 of their choice, so go frappr yourself

T-Shirts, Bags and Mugs, Oh My

We're hawking

We've got items available from 4 of our works including the brand new L'Amour de Pierrot skull illusion. Other items include bags, mugs and shirts in every conceivable style including black. I've set the prices low because nothing would make me happier than to see someone on the street in one of these.
